You literally cant get this wrong....

 https://sites.google.com/site/idahooutbackgriffons/so-your-last-pick

this is an article taken from notes sent from last pick buyers.  You have picked us as breeders because of our exceptional genetics, breeding for temperament, and prey drive.  If these were black lab puppies you would not bae able to tell them apart without a colored collar, Spots and dots aside, these puppies are very conform and you will not be able to tell them apart without a name chart and colored collars.

The pictures I take and the time I take to match your puppy to you, are really my own creation.  Most breeders just asign you your match, and somedays I think I should, but in my heart I think this is somewhat cosmic. And I want you to be a part of the process as well as have an enjoyable time.

My advice... Enjoy the pictures.  You do not need to study them, as you will be seeing the puppies in person.  You absolutely can have your tentative favorites.  You can ask questions, but coat lengths are obvious at 3-4 weeks , any personality traits observed in the last week or 2.  Their temperament is always joyful, athletic, and busy.

get yourself a puppy training book today. Maybe basic training and a hunting one too. Walters is a good resource. YouTube has great videos about crate training, Mouthiness, jumping, tricks, off leash recall drills.  Steady to the shot. Whoa, Get pumped because you are excited now, and what you teach your puppy in the next 3  months is often what they know when they are 13  years old.

Make a decision from day 1.  what do we expect?  A dog that climbs on the couch at 7 weeks old will crawl on the couch at 7 years old.  Will he sleep in a crate?  Will he be friends or foes with the mailman?  Will he travel well in the car?  Will he allow his toe nails trimmed?  Will he jump on Grandma.... well if he jumps on you and your kids the answer is yes.   Calm greeting or none at all and no fan fair when coming or going helps with anxiety from starting.  They need to be confident, and it is not a good thing to have to be touching your human every minute for comfort.

You have the next 14or 15 years to enjoy what you put into your puppy today. Get a Book!
